Legrand Korea, led by CEO Lim Kwang-bum, is entering the premium digital door lock market as part of this year's new business venture.

Targeted at the premium segment, Legrand Korea’s new digital door lock features a high-end finish with a carbon pattern applied using Inmold technology, enhancing the product’s sophistication. The door lock is designed with an intuitive push-pull mechanism—push to exit and pull to enter—allowing users to easily and intuitively escape in emergencies without confusion.

The lock also includes a premium fingerprint recognition feature that offers rapid identification within 0.9 seconds and supports the registration of up to 100 fingerprints. It also supports traditional password entry and smart card key access, with smart keys available in keychain and sticker formats. A variety of safety features are also integrated into the new product.

Legrand Korea’s premium digital door lock will be available in two models—Fingerprint Recognition and Basic—and in two color options: Carbon Black and Carbon Rose Gold. The product is scheduled for release in August, the company announced on the 9th.
