Which electrical installation carry out in homes?

From the design of the electrical panel to the creation of the electrical circuits, including grounding, an electrical installation requires anticipation and precision in order to meet the essential safety rules. The NF C 15-100 standard can be used as a guide to design an installation that guarantees safety and continuity of service to occupants, while ensuring the protection of property.

An installation that meets your needs

By following two key steps, you can be sure that the installation you carry out will cover all your needs:

- list the electrical circuits required: lights, socket outlets, roller shutters, heating, oven, etc.

- list the required equipment accordingly: technical housing sheath, residual current circuit breaker (RCCB), circuit breakers, etc.

You can then design your installation and carry out the phase/neutral wiring as well as the earthing for total safety.

- To install at least one Surge Protective Device in areas where lighting strike density is high if the building’s power line is partly or fully overhead.
